What Are People Saying?

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia a couple years ago and was put on two medications right away. One for the nerve pain and an anti-depressant. I felt I was going deeper into depression and had no energy to go about my daily activities including my full time job. I struggled through a couple medication changes but found the same results. A friend suggested I seek some help through a different (non traditional) pathway and found Jin Shin Jyutsu and Mindy’s Gentle Healing. To my surprise and relief, she did not tell me that western medicine was useless - she taught me that if I needed to take these medications, JSJ could help my body assimilate them without all the side effects! I saw her each week for a couple months and she taught me some “flows” or “holds” I could do at home as well. Mindy worked with me along side my doctor with medication changes and after a couple months, I am down to only one medication and am feeling better than I have in years!

My husband and I have (special needs) Golden Labrador mix sisters.  They actually came to us after 2 different homes due to some physical mal-formations from birth as well as general health issues and allergies.  Maggie has a nose that is twisted a bit and uneven ears (all going to the left).  Maven was born with her front leg much shorter than the other 3, a mal-formed jaw, and a tail that looks like a lightening bolt.  Both are very sweet natured but have trouble eating and have a multitude of allergies.

I see Mindy as a Jin Shin practitioner for myself and asked her about seeing my dogs.  She came to our house and treated them together as neither one of the dogs would leave her side (they loved her!).  I can’t believe the difference in their skin and eyes – I’m finding less and less fur around the house which was the first thing I noticed.  The food that they do manage to eat seems to be nourishing them better.  I get so much out of my JSJ sessions and I can see that my sweet dogs do too.

I called Mindy to help me with my migraine headaches. They used to last 2 to 3 days where I could not get out of bed. Mindy came to my house about an hour after one started and within 30 minutes, I was able to sit up, drink water, and have a quiet but functional day. What helped moving forward were weekly then monthly sessions with her and doing the self help holds at home. Just a few months later, when a migraine starts, it only lasts about 30 minutes.
